Good news!

So I've got some good news that I've been really eager to share with you all but I've been waiting to make it official. Well, now that the contracts are signed, it's official! I've signed with Joe Monti of Barry Goldblatt Literary!

It's been hard keeping quiet. I think I would have even gone longer but I found out that my lovely Inkies had spilled the news this past Saturday on the Enchanted Inkpot. he he. It's funny cause I read that post and somehow completely missed my own news. Too much bouncing off the walls I guess.

It was an incredible experience for me because I had the amazing good fortune to receive 4 offers of representation from amazing agents, any one of which I would have been extremely happy to sign with. I had 4 fantastic conversations with agents that all said they loved my book and who made this a very difficult decision. But what made me sign with Joe was that we talked for 2 hours and it felt like 20 minutes. It felt right and I'm excited to see what's in store for me next.

I have to thank each of the agents that offered for me. I am so grateful to them for providing me with the affirmation that I do have what it takes to be a writer. And for that alone I will always appreciate them all. Besides, anyone who says they love my book has got to be the coolest, most awesome people in the world, right? Right.
