The Vienna Vegetable Orchestra

So this was so bizarre I had to post it. An orchestra made entirely of vegetable instruments. How very phallic! Although I must say that my favorite was the person playing the head of cabbage. That cracked me up!

  1. "...the person playing the head of cabbage." Heh heh. You said "head." (In Beavis and Butthead tone.) Heh heh heh.

  2. I'm not sure if that's cool, bizarre, or what. 5 minutes of it was fascination. 10 minutes... I'm not sure. Either way I deeply respect the inventiveness of the musicians.

  3. Strange and funny. I couldn't watch more than a couple of minutes though.
(I watched your other video clip ten times though)

  4. That was weird...but enjoyable, and I could actually watch it for more than ten minutes; not sure what that says about me!

  6. Amazing, human ingenuity! This reminds me a lot of Les Triplettes de Belleville.

Watching this, I found myself partly hoping that they would eat the vegetables afterwards -- and partly worrying that they would. Can't say I'd fancy a carrot soup after someone had been blowing on that carrot for an hour or so, even if it WAS well cooked.

  8. I've said it before and I'll say it again. Lettuce is the Devil and this video is further proof that evil is taking the world over.

  9. how bizarre...it would be a unique way to get your kids to eat their veggies...then again it could cause nightmares of epic proportions!!
