Random Funny Things My Kids Say - Part 24

Angus - When I grow up, I'm going to live in a big house with lots and lots of rooms and 6 kittens and 10 puppies, and 2 parrots and a big fish tank, and with my sisters.

Da Man - What about Mom and Dad?

Angus - Well Mom can live with us cause she is only a little bit allergic to cat, but you are really really allergic to cats so you can't!

Da Man - Oh, so you would rather live with cats than with your Dad?

Angus - (thinking)

Da Ma - I can't believe you would choose cats!

Angus - Don't worry Daddy, I'll build a little house on the side of my big one just for you.

Da Man - Thanks a lot...

  1. what darlings :) it's so funny when they get to the age where they think they just might want to have a life w/o mom & dad...but they don't want to hurt anyone, so they recant all their plans. i remember being 3 or so and my dad making me promise i wouldn't get married until i was 33 ;) i agreed, just to make him happy...

  5. I feel DaMan's pain! LOL!

Heck our daughters simply said they'd never move out of our house. They recanted when we told them they'd have to follow our rules if they stayed. ;)

  6. On one hand, I'd be offended. On the other hand, I think I'd be happy to have my own little house. If it could be free of crayon on the walls and action figures all over the floor, I'd be freaking ecstatic!

  7. "...where you can come visit and everything..." was probably the next thing otu of her mouth.

    HIlarious.

  8. I agree that your husband should really be happy with his own little home. I'm sure if they could, our daughters would always love to have invisible, soundless, money-bearing versions of my husband and me around to cook, clean, and dole out their allowance money, but never make a sound.

  9. That is sooo funny. I think I prefer not to live with all those cats either and I can't claim allergies.

I don't know why Ell but my blog feed thing hasn't been updated your posts. I;m trying to catch up now.

  10. True story: when I was 2, my parents were still married, and I went and put hands on my biological dad's chest (he was, per usual, stretched out on the couch being a bum), put my chin on my hands and said, "You know, if you were dead, we could have a cat."
