Ninja Assassin

Just saw Ninja Assassin this weekend. Bloody awful gorefest with some sickening violence that even made me flinch and squirm. But it was all worth it to watch Korean pop singing sensation Rain in his first Hollywood lead role of a major film. Da Man hit me a couple of times when my drooling and deep breathing got a little out of hand.

But then my friend sends me this picture of Rain at Dulles airport in DC.

I'm sure those flowers are for me...

I thought that guy looked familiar! He's definitely a good looking fellow. I hope the movie comes to my area soon so I can see him in action.

I saw the movie over the weekend too. Loved it to the core. Gotta love the Wachowski when it comes to action flicks. It was like 300 meets Naked Weapon meets 36 chambers of shaolin meets Bleach! Phew.

Though it would have done them some good to explain the regeneration and Shunpo a bit. Some advanced bloodline concept would have come in handy. But hey, with such good action - I don't care about the story! Had a great time watching it.

You can have your Rain. I just want my Jeon-Ji Hyun. Am so madly in love with her!

My girls are so crazy about this guy it just isn't true. They're big into learning Korean because of Dong Bang Shin Ki (etc.) and now this.

Ah, if I were just a little younger. But hold the gorefests. Please.
